Quick Pickled Onions

5 minutes, 5 ingredients. These pickled onions couldn't be easier!

Equipment

  • Small saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Large onion
  • 1/2 cup White vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice your onion and add it to the saucepan with all of the other ingredients
  • Over medium high heat bring the mixture to a boil and then turn the heat down to low, let it simmer for a couple of minutes until the onions start to soften
  • Remove from heat, let cool then transfer to a jar, store in the refrigerator and enjoy for up to two weeks!
