The Best Fudgy Sourdough Discard Brownies
These brownies have a delicious fudgy center with a crispy top! they are irresistibly delicious!

- 250 grams Chocolate Dark or semi sweet
- 115 grams Butter
- 70 grams Cocoa
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla
- 100 grams Sourdough discard
- 3 Eggs
- 200 grams White sugar
- 110 grams Brown sugar
- 125 grams Flour
- 5 grams Salt
Preheat oven to 350F
In a medium Sauce pan over medium heat melt together butter and chocolate
Meanwhile add the eggs and sugar to a stand mixer, and using the Whisk attachment set your stand mixer to high and whisk until the sugar and eggs becomes fluffy, light in color and forms soft peaks.
To the melted butter mixture whisk in the cocoa, vanilla, and sourdough discard.
Add the chocolate mixture to the stand mixer with the eggs and sugar, and whisk on medium high till combined
Remove the bowl from the stand mixer and stir in the flour and salt
Transfer the batter to a 9x9 pan lined with parchment
Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes, Until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean
Let brownies cool before slicing.
